I Begged to See My Grandkids for Years – Then Grandma’s Will Changed Everything

I never thought I’d be writing this. But sometimes life has a way of turning tables when you least expect it.

My name is Margaret. I’m fifty-seven years old, and until three months ago, I lived in a trailer park outside Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The trailer was small. Rust stained the walls. The roof leaked whenever it rained. But it was mine, paid for with years of waitressing at a IHOP that finally went under.

I didn’t mind the hardship. I’d been through worse. A divorce that left me with nothing but a suitcase. Years of chronic illness that ate away my savings. But none of that compared to the pain of losing my grandchildren.
