I Was a Delivery Driver. My Brother Inherited a Fortune. Then I Found the Real Will.

I’ve been a delivery driver for fifteen years.

I know every cracked driveway and angry dog in this town.

But nothing could have prepared me for what I found on that particular Tuesday afternoon.

It was just another package. A large manila envelope addressed to ‘Current Resident’ at a mansion I’d driven past a hundred times.

The house was enormous. White columns. Perfect lawn. Iron gates.

I rang the bell, expecting a maid or maybe no one at all.

Instead, the door was opened by a man I recognized immediately.

It was Matthew Carlson. My older brother.

I hadn’t seen him in twenty-three years. Not since Dad’s funeral.
